Four years ago, the Global Skills Matrix was launched by the World Administrators Alliance as the first-ever globally recognised framework for the administrative profession. It gave us a shared language to describe the complexity of our work, mapped clear career pathways, and proved to business leaders that administration is not a static role but a profession that grows in strategic value.
Since then, it’s been downloaded more than 13,000 times. Organisations around the world have used it to implement career frameworks, restructure business support functions, and finally give assistants the recognition they deserve.
But the world of work has shifted dramatically. AI, hybrid operations, and the growing need for administrative leadership at the highest levels mean the Global Skills Matrix must evolve too.
That’s where you come in.
