For those who follow me regularly, you’ll know my writing voice is usually the Administrative Defender – candid, and sometimes hard-hitting when it comes to how assistants are treated.
This week, I’m shifting gears. After two months of rest, reset, and precious time with my family, I want to begin the new season from a place of gratitude. Gratitude for the profession, for progress, for community, and for the opportunities ahead.

It’s a busy runway to December, but also an incredible opportunity to finish strong.
So let me start by saying – I am grateful to be in this with all of you. We have so much to do, and so much possibility ahead.
Are we ready for it?
