Are You a Faithful or a Traitor at Work?

It’s the biggest TV show in the UK right now, and even if you have never seen ‘The Celebity Traitors’, you will understand the premise.

A group of people working toward a shared goal. Most are genuine. But a few have hidden agendas. They smile. They collaborate. They play nice, while quietly plotting to take others down.

Sound familiar?

Because in business, it happens too.
People who build power by dismantling others. Who whisper in the background so you never quite know where the knives are coming from.

You only notice that the tone in which people talk to you has changed. That people you trusted now keep their distance. That something has shifted, and not in your favour.

And when those people start to feel exposed, when someone begins to see them for who they really are, they move fast to eliminate the threat.

They question motives, twist facts, and quietly rewrite the narrative before anyone else can.

The thing about hidden agendas is that they make everyone cautious, defensive, second-guessing. And when trust disappears, so does collaboration, creativity and progress.

It’s sabotage.

And it turns smart, capable people into cautious, disconnected ones.

Great cultures thrive on honesty, transparency and courage – people who do the right thing even when no one’s watching.

So are you a Faithful or a Traitor?

Because ‘The Traitors’ might be good television. But in business, those same tactics destroy everything that matters.
