Before the Year Ends, Ask Yourself What You Really Want From 2026

We’re going into the first weekend of December.

So let me ask you something important.

What do you actually want from 2026?

And I want you to really sit with that.

Because if you want something different next year, preparation cannot wait until January.

Change comes when you make room for it.

This weekend, give yourself the gift of honesty.

Ask yourself the questions you usually push aside because you are too busy taking care of everyone else.

What do I want more of.
What do I want less of.
What am I no longer willing to tolerate.
What would my work look like if it honoured my strengths, my value, my life.

And then the hardest one.
Where am I actually trying to get to.

If you don’t have a destination in mind, you will spend another year running without moving closer to the life you want. You deserve more than that. You deserve direction.

So use this weekend to sketch the earliest version of 2026.
Not a perfect plan, just a path. A beginning. A promise to yourself.

You are allowed to choose differently.
You are allowed to grow.
You are allowed to build a year that serves you as much as you serve everyone else.

Take the time. Find your direction.
Your future self will thank you for it.

What is one thing you know needs to change next year?
