The job market is tough right now, and I know many of you are struggling to stand out during the interview process.

It can be tempting to try to present yourself as what you think the hiring company wants, but my advice is to be yourself.

You want to be hired because it’s a great fit! And because they love who you are and what you can bring to the table. Don’t try to be something you’re not.

Either you fit the company culture and the job requirements, or you don’t. It’s that simple.

Trust me, it’s exhausting to try to keep up a masquerade. Be confident in who you are. The right job and the right fit for who you are will come along for you.
