It’s the end of the first week of January.
So let’s be honest.
How did you do with the
“Let’s pick this up in January” tasks?
The emails you parked.
The conversations you postponed.
The decisions you pushed into the future.
Isn’t it interesting the clarity January brings!
For me, it’s been a week of prioritising what seemed overwhelming in December.
I picked some of it up and dealt with it.
I looked at some of it and decided, consciously, that it could wait.
And best of all, I realised that some of it never needed doing in the first place.
Each of those is a valid outcome.
January isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about deciding what deserves your time.
If it matters, do it.
If it doesn’t, let it go.
If you’re avoiding it, schedule it.
And if you’ve already gained clarity, that’s real progress.
Now close your laptop and enjoy your weekend.
